Matt and I are officially over one month into our year in Manchester and I have finally created a blog. It has so far been a month of adjustments and we are now settling into our British life, lowering our use of the phrase "in Canada, they do it like this..." to a minimal amount. One month away from home and many people must be wondering the common questions: do we miss Tim Hortons, Swiss Chalet, efficiency, and driving on the right side of the road? Yes of course we do but we have also really come to enjoy many of the differences that exist here (except for in the customer service sector). The people are extremely nice, the buildings are full of history, and so far we have met a lot really great people. Our courses are amazing, in part because it is finally cool to be a keener, I knew that day would come. So, keep checking out the blog and I will try to keep you posted on all of our crazy adventures this year!
